A Charitable Expedition to Nepal, organized by Almar together with Monitor Ski School, which our company has supported for several years. The aim of this Corporate Social Responsibility initiative is to deliver technical mountain gear to adults and children in the communities of Khumde and Khumjum. Ski clothing from previous seasons will provide these two communities with warm garments to help them cope with extremely low temperatures.

Representing Almar on the expedition will be Javier Haro, Head of the Andalusia Office and an experienced mountaineer, together with Pau Bravo, founding partner of Monitor Ski School. Both are excited to take part in this ambitious experience and will keep us updated on every stage and detail of the journey.

The main challenge will be to reach the summit of Lobuche Peak, at more than 6,000 meters above sea level, and see Mount Everest from there. The expedition will take place under highly demanding physical and mental conditions due to the characteristics of the terrain.

For Almar, which has promoted and funded this trip, the initiative represents a further step in strengthening its commitment to this dual social purpose: improving people’s quality of life while also promoting sport.
