Hotel Pez Espada MedPlaya
The Hotel Pez Espada MedPlaya in Torremolinos, Málaga, is one of the Costa del Sol’s most iconic hotels. The project was developed in accordance with BREEAM® New Construction (NC) certification criteria, applying strategies that improve energy efficiency, indoor comfort and responsible resource management.
The hotel’s refurbishment and modernisation followed a comprehensive sustainability approach, incorporating low-impact materials, water- and energy-saving systems, and solutions that support occupant wellbeing.
Almar Consulting supported the certification process as technical adviser, ensuring the correct implementation of the environmental criteria and alignment with international sustainability standards.
The project reinforces Almar Consulting’s commitment to the sustainable transformation of the tourism sector by promoting hotels that are more efficient, modern and respectful of their surroundings.
