Almar has carried out project monitoring for a housing development in the Tarter area of Andorra.
According to its architectural design, the foundation and structure have been designed with concrete slab floors in the basement and ground floor and with a structure of cross-laminated solid wood CLT panels for the walls and floors on the first floor and above. CLT panels have revolutionised timber construction due to their versatility, their structural performance, which is very different from previous systems, their simplicity of construction and the fact that they are achieving building heights similar to steel or concrete.
The façade has been designed to have high-quality finishes with materials such as wood and natural stone.
