“This project represents a new milestone in the development of healthcare spaces with an academic component, reinforcing our ability to design and deliver complex environments tailored to specific needs and oriented towards real-world use.”
The process required the creation of an environment capable of efficiently integrating different uses: academic, clinical and social. Accordingly, the design of the space addressed key challenges such as reconciling academic activity with real clinical practice, ensuring privacy and comfort for patients, and creating a professional environment that facilitates hands-on learning for students in real conditions. All of this was approached with a strong focus on user experience and spatial functionality.
The clinic is integrated within the UAX healthcare ecosystem and is conceived as a connection point between university education and community care. Within this facility, students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and the Master’s in General Health Psychology at Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio develop their training in direct contact with clinical practice, while at the same time providing accessible psychological care.
With this project, Almar continues to strengthen its value proposition in the field of healthcare architecture, combining technical expertise, strategic vision and execution capability to support clients in high-impact projects.
