During his presentation at the roundtable "The Role of the Project Manager in Renovation: Their Most Defining Functions," our colleague Aurelio Fernández, partner at Almar Consulting, discussed the importance of conducting preliminary studies to understand the actual situation of the building before construction begins: from photographic reports, notarial deeds, etc., to taking into account neighboring buildings.
He also highlighted the importance of the government developing regulations that always involve the stakeholders involved in building projects.
These were undoubtedly very interesting sessions, where topics such as the challenge architects face in renovation projects, the views of banks, insurance companies, and appraisers on renovation financing, the keys to energy savings, and the new role of the renovation agent were addressed.
Thank you, CIARE, for having Almar at this first congress on renovation.
