Juan Velayos joins the Partners Committee to support the definition and execution of Almar Consulting's strategic plan, driving its organic and inorganic growth over the coming years.
Juan holds a degree in Law from Abat Oliba University and an MBA from IESE. He began His career began at Uría Menéndez Abogados, one of the most important law firms in Spain, where he became a partner at 31 years old.
He was CEO of Renta Corporación, and subsequently held important executive positions in multidisciplinary consulting firms, including Managing Partner of Real Estate at Alantra and Partner at PWC.
He led the creation of Neinor Homes for Lone Star as CEO, achieving its IPO in 2017.
Juan Velayos is the Founder and CEO of JV20 Investment and Advisory, a real estate investment and advisory firm based in Spain. He is also a Senior Advisor to the TPG group in Spain and to the Natixis Partners group, a Proprietary Director at Tempore Properties, and a Co-founder of the construction company 011h.
With the addition of Juan Velayos as partner responsible for corporate strategy, Almar Consulting improves its position to face the difficult economic environment facing the entire industry and redoubles its efforts to lead, on the one hand, the concentration that will occur in the sector and, on the other, the greater advisory needs that its clients will require in the face of the current severe difficulties.
