Portugal marks the beginning of Almar Consulting’s international expansion, as the company works to help make the country’s real estate sector more sustainable.

Since Almar opened its offices in Portugal in 2021, the journey has involved a great deal of work, but also new clients and projected growth of 30% this year. All of this has taken place in a completely new market for the company, giving Almar the opportunity to bring to Portugal the growing range of services it already provides in Spain: urban planning, including asset status management and strategic consulting; project services, including project management, supervision and monitoring, as well as construction monitoring; asset management, consulting and strategic management, including due diligence and commercial analysis services; and technical services, including audits and inspections, as well as facilities management.

Finally, one of the fastest-growing areas is sustainability and innovation. Almar has its own team trained in LEED, BREEAM and WELL standards, enabling us to support our clients in obtaining certification for their assets under any of these systems.
