Success story
In the heart of Barcelona, two former religious buildings have been transformed into an exclusive 28-home residential complex, connected by a landscaped central courtyard that brings light and a sense of space to the development.
The work respected the buildings’ heritage character, preserving original features such as timber beams, a 19th-century arch and a marble staircase with a wrought-iron balustrade.
The project, coordinated by Almar Consulting as Project Manager alongside JV20 Advisory Group, \Urcotex and OUA, demonstrates how heritage conservation and contemporary architecture can be successfully balanced—and how good management is also an essential part of good architecture.
