Almar Consulting has announced the appointment of Ines Koschel as Partner in its Project Management division, a strategic move aimed at further strengthening one of the company’s fastest-growing business lines. The appointment reflects the firm’s commitment to consolidating its position in the comprehensive management of complex projects, particularly within international environments and technically demanding sectors. The new partner joins the organization at a time of significant expansion for the Project Management division, which already represents a substantial share of the company’s overall business activity. According to company figures, the division achieved year-on-year growth of more than 15% in 2025, reinforcing a positive growth trajectory that the firm now intends to accelerate through this appointment. Company leadership has emphasized that the objective is to further enhance its delivery capabilities in projects requiring multidisciplinary coordination, rigorous schedule management, cost control, quality assurance, and risk management. Three decades of international experience delivering highly complex projects, supported by a deeply specialized technical profile, driving a new phase of growth and expansion.

Koschel brings more than 30 years of experience in the leadership and management of large-scale construction projects across multiple regions worldwide. Throughout her career, she has worked in Asia, Latin America, and Europe, delivering highly complex technical initiatives for top-tier clients across a wide range of industries. Prior to joining Almar Consulting, she held senior leadership positions at international firms including CBRE Group, Turner & Townsend, Hill International and Inypsa, where she served in high-responsibility roles such as Head of Project Management Germany and Senior Director.

Her professional track record includes several internationally recognized landmark projects, notably the Spanish Pavilion at the Expo 2005 Aichi, the Expo 2008 Zaragoza and the Expo 2010 Shanghai. These assignments involved collaboration with both public institutions and private-sector organizations operating in the financial, hospitality, logistics, industrial, and residential sectors. The company highlights that her appointment will further strengthen relationships with corporate, institutional, and international clients within a business area already supported by a robust portfolio of contracted projects. Koschel’s arrival is regarded as another significant step in consolidating the firm’s position within the advanced technical services market.

A licensed Civil Engineer (Roads, Canals and Ports), Koschel combines a strong technical background with international executive education from institutions including George Washington University/ESI Madrid, ISDE, Project Management Institute (PMI) and Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). She also lectures in Project Management at international business schools.

Almar Consulting’s leadership has emphasized the strategic importance of this appointment. The company’s President, José Luis Miró, stated that “the appointment of Ines Koschel represents an important milestone in further strengthening our Project Management division,” highlighting her international experience and leadership capabilities. Koschel noted that she approaches this new chapter with enthusiasm and a strong sense of opportunity: “I am joining Almar Consulting at an exciting moment and look forward to contributing my experience to the Project Management area,” while also recognizing the value of the team and the firm’s established track record.

This appointment coincides with a new phase of corporate growth following the designation of Juan Jesús Peláez as Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer. This organizational development forms part of the implementation of the Scale Plan 2026–2028, aimed at strengthening the company’s governance framework and execution capabilities.
